Events:
Fred
was presented the Lafayette City-Parish
Distinguished Citizen Award during the city-parish council meeting on October
2. The award was presented in recognition
of Prejean’s important contributions to the betterment of
our community and the quality of life of all citizens. The certificate of
commendation represents Lafayette’s official recognition of Fred’s outstanding
service and unselfish efforts which have made our community a better place in
which to live. In addition to other
community activities, as
current chairman of the Lafayette Consolidated Planning and Zoning Commission,
Fred has been instrumental in working with citizen volunteer groups facilitating
the creation of the first ever comprehensive plan for development of Lafayette,
a.k.a., Lafayette in a Century (LINC).

and Campaign Headquarters Opening on Friday, September 7, 6:30-9:30 p.m.

free sno-cone on Saturday, September 15, 11 a.m. –12:30 p.m., at Creole

Start your day with a “Mid-week Coffee Break” with
Fred on Wednesday, September 19, 7- 9 a.m., at Green Willow Gift Gallery,
901 E. Willow.
The Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a forum for
District 44 candidates on Wednesday,
September 26 at the Clifton Chenier Center.
