Events:

Fred was presented the Lafayette City-Parish Distinguished Citizen Award during the city-parish council meeting on October 2. The award was presented in recognition of Prejean’s important contributions to the betterment of our community and the quality of life of all citizens. The certificate of commendation represents Lafayette’s official recognition of Fred’s outstanding service and unselfish efforts which have made our community a better place in which to live. In addition to other community activities, as current chairman of the Lafayette Consolidated Planning and Zoning Commission, Fred has been instrumental in working with citizen volunteer groups facilitating the creation of the first ever comprehensive plan for development of Lafayette, a.k.a., Lafayette in a Century (LINC).

Getting results for District 44 ---   Fred talks about taking the next step, bringing resources to our District.  It's all about planning and getting results.

You’re invited to join Fred for his Birthday Celebration and Campaign Headquarters Opening on Friday, September 7, 6:30-9:30  p.m.  at  500 Surrey St.  (Corner of Surrey and Louisiana Ave.)
 
Bring the entire family to “Beat the Heat” with a free sno-cone on Saturday, September 15, 11 a.m. –12:30 p.m., at Creole Flavor Sno, 2208 N. University.
 
Start your day with a “Mid-week Coffee Break” with Fred on Wednesday, September 19, 7- 9 a.m., at Green Willow Gift Gallery, 901 E. Willow.
 
The Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a forum for District 44 candidates on Wednesday,  September 26 at the Clifton Chenier Center.
